Would you believe me if I told you this was my first trip to Canada?! Crazy right? Oh well, you know what they say - better late than never!
Toronto, Ontario is one of the most popular Canadian cities, and it was on my bucket list for quite a few years. Last month, my sisters, a friend, and I, took a 4-day weekend trip to Toronto to celebrate one of my sisters' birthday.
Greeted by clear blue skies and crisp air, the weather was beyond welcoming; I was uber eager to explore!
That weekend was also CARIBANA, and I may have gotten a little carried away with the turn up (lol). That being said, I didn't take as many photos as I'd hoped - my bad guys. I did, however, get this quick #ootd pic in at 'Daylight with Lebron James' @ Cabana Pool Bar.
Toronto is SUPER clean, and for some reason, I felt pretty comfortable and "at home" there. Needless to say, it's a lot prettier than I anticipated.
While visiting the Liberty Village section of Toronto, I randomly found this really cool building art. I couldn't resist taking a snip-snap with this dope wall as my backdrop (lol). I'm low-key a sucker for good art 😫
School is an AMAZING restaurant that my sister found for brunch. The cocktails weren't my fave, but the food was soooo yummy! I had the Black N' Blue Flapjacks; and I must say, they're some of the best pancakes I've ever had!
Found a cute park across from the restaurant and decided to take in some fresh air for a few minutes.
Our last night there, we had dinner at Lee Restaurant in downtown Toronto. It's a stylish Asian/French tapas style eatery - definitely my kinda vibe. I was a bit iffy about the menu at first, but our waiter raved about the chef's signature Singaporean Slaw and insisted that we try it. THANK GOD HE DID! Apart from being art on a plate - when I tell you this slaw was BOMB - bruh!
All-in-all, Toronto was good to me! I had a GREAT time, and I definitely plan on making another trip to Toronto soon. Have any of you ever been to Toronto? What are some of your fave restaurants and places to visit there? Let me know in the comment section below.
